About Project
This project is based on addressing the lack of awareness about Indian dance forms. Many people engage with dance through various mediums like social media, some watch online or attend shows, while some practice and perform dance professionally. Despite of this, many important Indian dance forms and dancers go unrecognized, leaving out an important part of our culture.
The app and website act as an archive, showcasing multimedia information about dancers, shows, and dance forms, providing a social platform for practitioners, and offering a learning model with tools like AR and AI for users to explore and learn Indian dance styles.

Closing Thoughts
I had worked on a UI/UX project named ‘Dance.’ which was a college project, based on addressing the lack of awareness about Indian dance forms.
While many people engage with dance through social media, online videos, and live shows, countless Indian dance forms and their talented practitioners remain hidden and unrecognised, leaving a vital piece of our cultural heritage unseen.
I came up with 2 solutions based on the personas. Firstly, the app, providing a social platform for practitioners, and offering a learning model with tools like AR and AI for users to explore and learn Indian dance styles. And secondly, the website that acts as an archive, showcasing multimedia information about dancers, shows, and dance forms.
Right from research to the final outcome, the entire project was done solely by me.
